What was the highlight of Hotel Palia Las Palomas
Pleasant
Although our room was very clean there was a sewage smell. Not the hotels fault,but the people in the room next door were insanely loud throughout the night i requested a room change to be told I can't have one as no space.So I spend three out of the two nights with about 2 hours sleep per night.
Reception weren't very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Limited sun beds for the size of hotel.

Good all inclusive hotel
The staff were excellent, we really enjoyed the animators they had, they all did such a good job and obviously enjoyed themselves as well. Every evening something was organised sometimes also spontaneously a quiz or so. Shout-out to Jesus and Krystel and Maxime, as well as the extra bachata and salsa lessons.
The jacuzzi was cold, that was a really sad and unwelcome surprise. Dinner buffet had a lot of options, but the signs indicating what it was were sometimes missing or wrong, and did not include allergens at all. Bathroom had no fan in it, so always had to leave the door open to air it out.

Good
Previous reviews suggested the food was not great. We found the opposite. The food was excellent, fresh, and always replenished quickly. We were lucky enough to be there for an Asia themed night that was fabulous. The menu included sushi, which was amazing. There was a good selection of drinks for all-inclusive. Also, the room was comfortable and clean. Some previous reviews claimed that the staff were unfriendly, but again, we found the complete opposite. All in all, good value for money and an enjoyable stay.
We are aware that some all-inclusive guests may over indulge; however, there were a few groups of tourists that had clearly had too much and were very loud and unruly. They were sadly disrespectful during the evening Spanish show, and many guests asked them to please respect the professionals. Sadly, the hotel staff did nothing to control it.
